Legal Counsel

We are seeking a detail-oriented and competent Legal Counsel to join our client’s team. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to advise on a wide range of legal matters. You will play a key role in ensuring the organization’s compliance, managing legal risks, and supporting business operations with clear, practical legal guidance.

Location: Remote or on-site, depending on company requirements

Job Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support across various departments
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
• Conduct legal research and monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations
• Manage external counsel and coordinate on complex legal matters
• Support risk management initiatives and assist in resolving legal disputes
• Guide internal stakeholders on legal procedures and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law; Juris Doctor or equivalent preferred
• Licensed to practice law in applicable jurisdiction
• Proven experience as Legal Counsel or similar legal role
• Strong knowledge of corporate, contract, and regulatory law
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professional judgment

Minimum Technical and Work Environment Requirements:

• Internet Connection:
• Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps.
• Backup internet connection with at least 10 Mbps.
• Backup connection must be capable of supporting work during a power outage.

• Primary Device:
• Desktop or laptop equipped with at least:
• Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer), Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer), AMD Ryzen 5, or an equivalent processor.
• A minimum of 8 GB RAM.

• Backup Device:
• Must meet or exceed the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor.
• Must be functional during power interruptions.

• A functioning webcam.
• A noise-canceling USB headset.
• A quiet, dedicated home office space.
• Peripherals and Workspace: A smartphone for communication and verification purposes.
